PNPA Cadetship Program [Entrance Exam] 2021

The PNPA Cadetship Program is a Government Scholarship Program. It is 4-year schooling and preparing program prompting the Bachelor of Science in Public Safety degree. Hopeful cadets need to take the PNPA Cadet Admission Test (PNPACAT) to be equipped for the subsequent stage of enlistment.

Graduates are appointed as Police Lieutenants of the Philippine National Police, as Inspectors of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology, and Bureau of Fire Protection.

Qualifications for PNPA Admission

You should have the following qualifications to be able to join the maroon line

  • Naturally- born Filipino citizen
  • Atleast 18 y/o or at most 22 years of age before admission
  • Single and with no parental obligation
  • At least senior high school graduate
  • At least 5 feet and 2 Inches for male and 5 feet for female in height
  • Not have been dismissed from any private employment or government position for cause
  • Physically and mentally fit to undergo cadetship training program
  • With good moral character
  • Without pending complaint and/or case before any tribunal involving moral turpitude or other crime against the State
  • Not a former cadet of PNPA or other service academies

Grounds for Medical Disqualifications

  • Defective Visual Perception (color blindness, nearsighted/farsighted with corrective eyeglasses or lens, nystagmus);
  • Physical Deformities Example: bowlegged or congenital defects;
  • Perforated eardrum, chronic sinusitis, bleeding tendencies, hemorrhoids, hernia (if not treated), varicocele, extensive skin disorders;
  • History of heart disease, hypertension, asthma, active PTB, kidney and liver diseases, epileptic seizure disorders, major operations; communicable diseases (such as AIDS, Hepatitis, VD, etc.);
  • Full dentures, upper and lower, Cleft lip and palate, malocclusion, Deformities of the face, Open bite, Tongue-tied, missing of four(4) anterior or front teeth & Missing of six (6) posterior/molar teeth;
  • Tattoos or other brotherhood marks;
  • Ear piercing for male and multiple ear piercing for female;
  • For Females: Goiter; History of pregnancy; Presence of breast mass; Painful menstruation;
  • Any other similar defects which may hinder in the Cadetship Training Program.

Exemption for PNPACAT

If you are a Senior High School with the highest honors or college summa cum laude, magna cum laude, cum laude then you are exempt from taking the Cadet Admission Test (written).

You just need to apply and submit the application form with certification of honor from your School to reach PNPA Registrar’s Office before the end of the announced application period. Provided also, that you satisfy the initial requirements for admission.

Grounds for Disqualification in the Online Application

  1. When an applicant fails to meet the initial qualifications;
  2. When an applicant deliberately inputs false and/or incorrect entries in any of the fields of the online application form;
  3. When an applicant uploads any fraudulent document; and
  4. Incomplete entries not satisfying the online application requirements.

How to apply for PNPA Cadetship Program

APPLICANTS may now access and register in the Online Application System link provided in our Official Website during the Bandwidth Stress Test currently being conducted as part of our preparations for PNPACAT CY 2021-2022 for PNPA CLASS 2026.

Things to Prepare for 2021 Online Admission

PNPA online application is now OPEN. Before applying online make sure to secure the following:

  • Scanned Copy of PSA Birth Certificate;
  • Scanned copy of the BMI Certificate signed by a licensed Physician (government or private); and
  • Scanned copy of Passport Sized ID Picture with name tag.

How to apply online?

  1. Applicants need to download and print out a copy of the PNPA BMI Form containing their height, weight, gender and BMI to be filled out and certified by a licensed Physician (Government/Private);
  2. Applicants will then proceed to fill out all the fields in the online application form;
  3. Applicants need to attach a scanned copy of their PSA Birth Certificate, accomplished PNPA BMI Form and passport sized ID picture with name tag;
  4. Upon clicking “submit,” system-generated Notice of Examination (NOE) with QR Code shall be sent to the applicants’ registered email address; and
  5. Applicants should secure a copy and print out of their NOE as the same shall be presented to the proctor/examiner and further scanning of QR Code during the actual PNPACAT;
  6. Applicants shall register only ONCE after confirmation and approval of his/her online application in the link provided in the official website and QR Code;

Phases of Screening

Candidates who effectively passed the PNPACAT will meet all requirements to the following period of screening which as follows:
